    Preston and Verna Bonner of Corsicana celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 17, 2011. They were married in 1961 at Lisbon Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas. Their courtship began on the Easter Sunday afternoon of 1960 with a ride in Preston's turquoise convertible 57 Chevy. Verna was visiting family in the Winkler community. The rest is history.
