High School Soccer: Tigers win Silver Bracket at Mesquite Tournament
The Tigers took down the home team Mesquite, 3-1, on Saturday for the Silver Bracket Championship at the Mesquite Tournament.
The Tigers beat Woodrow Wilson, 4-2, in the semifinal match.
Mario Castaneda, Sergio Ballesteros and Tomas Luevanos scored the goals against Mesquite. Castaneda had two assists and Diego Rodriguez had one. Mario Castaneda was selected as the Man of the Match.
Castaneda and Luevanos were both selected to the all-tournament.
Castaneda had two goals against Woodrow Wilson. John Garcia and Luevanos also had goals in the win.
