Corsicana — Kay and Byron Cook of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ginne Sue Cook, to Joshua Harmon Davis, son of Kathryn Cockrill of Mansfield and Ed Davis of Corsicana. Ginne is the granddaugther of Virginia and Harold Lilly of Corsicana and Sue Cook of Corsicana and the late Leland Cook. Joshua is the grandson of Jean Hughes of Mansfield.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Corsicana High School. She is a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in marketing and is an alumna of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Ginne is currently employed by Community National Bank & Trust.
The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Mansfield High School. He later joined the United States Army and completed two tours in Iraq where he achieved the rank of sergeant. Currently Joshua is deployed to Afghanistan. Upon his return he will continue his work with AT&T.
The wedding will take place May 15, 2010 at Coryell Creek Ranch in Gatesville, Texas. The couple will then make their home in Corsicana.
