Corsicana — Tim and Sharon Thomas of Corsicana and Don and Beverly Ballew of Frost are pleased to announce the engagement of Sarah Elizabeth Thomas to Caleb Ryan Ballew, both of College Station. Grandparents of the bride are Charlie Thomas and Dee Thomas of Corsicana. Grandparents of the groom are Buddy and Fern Ballew of Mertens and Billy Elmore and Betty Elmore.
Sarah is a senior at Texas A&M University, graduating in May with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Caleb graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is currently employed at BCS Heart in College Station.
The surprise proposal came last summer while the couple was working in the Rafiki Orphanages in Ghana, Africa.
Wedding nuptials will take place at Northside Baptist Church in Corsicana on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
