Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harper Jr. of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Audra Jo Harper to John Paul Tekell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Tekell of Corsicana.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kenner of Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harper, Sr. of Corsicana. Audra is a 2004 graduate of Blooming Grove High School. She graduated from Tarleton State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Services and Development.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bob Tekell of Corsicana and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Waldrop of Tyler. Captain John Paul Tekell is a 2003 graduate of Corsicana High School. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2007. Currently, John Paul is serving as a Captain in the Air Force stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Additionally, he is attending the Air Force Institute of Technology seeking a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He plans to graduate in March 2012.
John Paul and Audra plan an April 2012 wedding in Arkansas.
