Terri and John Hunter of Southlake are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordyn McKenzie, to William Scott Summerall of Corsicana, son of Marty and Gary Summerall of Corsicana. Jordyn is the granddaughter of Doris and Bob Latimer and the late Ed Hunter of Tucker, Georgia, and the late Virginia and Hubert Gladson of Birmingham, Alabama. Scott is the grandson of Dora Roell of Jackson, Mississippi and the late Harry Roell, and the late Trudy and Willard Summerall of Corsicana.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Southlake Carrol High School. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in communications. Scott is a 2004 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 2008 graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Affairs. Scott is currently employed in Dallas in the communications and public affairs business. Scott is also a licensed real estate agent.
An April wedding is planned in Dallas.
