Corsicana —
David “Kirk” and Brenda Thomas of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Thomas, to Luke Denton, son of Brad and Pam Denton of Round Rock.
Amy is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas of Burleson. Luke is the grandson of Karen Denton and the late Richard Denton of Petersburg, Ill. and Leonard and Polly Schum of Raymond, Ill. and the late Olen Wernsing.
The bride-to be and prospective groom are both graduates of Sam Houston State University, and are employed with Escondido Golf and Lake Club in Horseshoe Bay. Luke is a Golf Professional and Amy works as the Club’s Membership Coordinator.
The wedding is scheduled for March 23, 2013, at Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave with a reception to follow.
