Steve and Theresa Moorhouse of Lubbock are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Ann Moorhouse to Alexander Franklin Leach, son of Eric and Lisa Leach of Ransom Canyon.
Kelsey is the granddaughter of Marie Kolar, formerly of Hillsboro and the late Johnny Kolar, and Bobbye Moorhouse of Seymour, and the late David Moorhouse. Alex is the grandson of Jack and Cornelia Leach of Modesto, Calif. and J.E. “Bud” Franklin of Houston, and the late Billie Franklin.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She is currently working in University Medical Center’s Microbiology Department as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Alex is a 2003 graduate of Roosevelt High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is currently working as a Physics teacher and football/power lifting coach at Lubbock Cooper High School.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Christ the King Cathedral in Lubbock.
