Dr. G.M. and Kathy Cox of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Katie Cox to John Cotten, son of Chuck Cotten and Stephanie Armstrong of Corsicana.
Katie Cox is the granddaughter of the late Evelyn Philpot of Trinity and the late G.M. “Toby” Cox of Mexia, and Dorothy Whitehead and the late Dallas Whitehead of Conroe. John Cotten is the grandson of Wayne and Starlett Cotten of Powell and Ruth Horton of Corsicana.
Both the bride-to-be and prospective groom attended Corsicana High School and graduated in 2011. Katie is enrolled at Navarro College to become licensed as a certified nursing assistant, and is employed with Angels at Home, Inc. John completed his freshman year of college and is currently attending boot camp in San Diego, Calif. for the United States Marine Corps.
The wedding is scheduled for March 10, 2012 at the Taylorosa Special Event Center in Corsicana.
