Doyal-Russell Engagement

Joe Michael and Dena Russell of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Matthew Thomas Russell, to Jennifer Ann Doyal.

Matt is the grandson of Hattie Russell and the late Joe F. Russell Sr., both of Prairie Hill, Texas and the late J.W. and Joyce Thomas, both of Mexia. He is a 1999 graduate of Corsicana High School, received a bachelor’s degree from Austin College in 2004, and graduated cum laude from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in May 2008.

Jennifer is the daughter of Robert and Carmen Doyal of Kingwood. She is the granddaughter of Edwin Doyal and the late Betty Doyal, both of Lafayette, La. and Nina Derouen and the late Herman Derouen, both of New Iberia, La. Jennifer is a 2000 graduate of Marcus High School in Flowermound, received a bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University in 2004, and recently graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in May 2009.

Both Matt and Jenny are employed with Walgreens Pharmacy in the greater Houston area where they plan to live after their wedding, scheduled for October 10, 2009 at Ashton Gardens in the Woodlands.
