Danika Darby and Jake Griggs of Corsicana are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Danika is the daughter of Joe and Donna Darby of Corsicana. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth Lewis of Kerens, Sandra Lewis, Angelene Darby, and the late Thomas Darby, all of Corsicana.
Jake is the son of Bill and Cindy Griggs of Kerens. He is the grandson of Faye Sirman and the late Johnny Sirman of Corsicana, Mary York and the late Robert Griggs of Kerens.
Danika is a 2005 graduate of Corsicana High School, and a 2011 graduate from Sam Houston State University School of Education. She is employed by the Corsicana Independent School District as a first grade teacher.
Jake is also a 2005 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 2010 graduate from Texas A&M University Mays Business School with a degree in finance. He is employed by Community National Bank of Corsicana.
The wedding and reception is scheduled for March 10, 2012 at Camp Forrest in Kerens. Following their honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Corsicana.
