Mr. and Mrs. Raymond H. Bull of Benbrook are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Bull, to Joshua Ray Bardwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bardwell of East Mountain.
Miss Bull is a 2002 graduate of Western Hills High School in Benbrook. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Christian University, as well as a B.S. in Nursing from TCU. She was also active in the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
She is currently a registered nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall and a probationary EMS responder for Harrison County District 3 Emergency Services.
Mr. Bardwell is a 2002 graduate of White Oak High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry: Fire Management, with a minor in Journalism, from Stephen F. Austin University. He was a founding member of Kappa Alpha Order at SFA and was former president of the Society of American Foresters and served as a former Crew Boss of the Student Association of Fire Ecology.
He is currently employed at Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He also serves as a Firefighter/EMT for Harrison County Emergency Services District #3, and works as a Texas Forest Service Seasonal Wildland Firefighter. Bardwell was recently named Harrison County Volunteer EMT of the Year.
The bride-elect’s grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond O. Bull of Benbrook. The future groom’s grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jones of Longview and Mrs. Juanita Brown and the late Charles Wayne Brown of Pursley Community.
The couple plan to wed in November at Caddo Lake.
