John A. and Shelly Chapman of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Brooke Chapman, to Joey Gomez, son of Joe M. Gomez of Ft. Worth.
Katie is the granddaughter of Don F. and June Williams of Corsicana and Robert L. And Bobette Chapman of Eustace. She is a full time student at the University of North Texas in Denton, where she is a senior and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Joey is a full time student at Tarrant County Community College in Ft. Worth pursuing a nursing degree.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove.
