JUCO WORLD SERIES: Bulldogs receive hero's welcome home
The national champion Navarro Bulldogs baseball team received a hero’s welcome Sunday night as they arrived home from Grand Junction, Colo. after winning the JUCO World Series. The Bulldogs were welcomed at the college by close to 400 fans as their two buses pulled up just after 9 p.m. on Sunday night.

J.T. Files belted a walkoff two-run home run to right field in the bottom of the 10th and set off a celebration heard all the way back in Corsicana as the Bulldogs won their first junior college baseball national championship with a 6-4 victory over Central Arizona on Saturday night.

JUCO World Series: A Chance at History
The Navarro Bulldogs have played 63 games. They’ve worn out a path to the hospital and to the training room. They’ve survived mini-slumps as a team and as players. They’ve played their best baseball in the postseason. They’ve even found a turtle, taken him in and named him “Rally.” Their reward? A one-game, winner-take-all championship game at the JUCO World Series with a chance to make school history, giving the Bulldogs’ their first national title in baseball in school history.

JUCO World Series: One more win
The Navarro Bulldogs are playing in their first baseball national championship game after defeating defending national champion Iowa Western, 9-5, on Thursday at the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colo. The No. 3-ranked Bulldogs will play the winner of Friday's game between Central Arizona and Potomac at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night in a one-game-winner-take-all title game.

JUCO World Series: Bulldogs can't hold lead, lose, 11-8
The Navarro Bulldogs gave the No. 1 team in the country too much wiggle room on Wednesday night, and Central Arizona ran away with a critical victory at the JUCO World Series. Central Arizona went on to pull out an 11-8 victory over the Bulldogs in a winner’s bracket game at Suplizio Field.

JUCO World Series: Pruitt, Navarro silence Iowa Western, 9-1
Austin Pruitt’s sub-1.00 is so low it doesn’t seem right that he pitched Monday afternoon in Grand Junction, elevation 4,586 feet. But be at sea level or up in the mountains, Pruitt just isn’t giving up runs this season. He was at again in Monday’s second-round game at the JUCO World Series as Navarro hammered defending national champion Iowa Western, 9-1, in a run-rule victory at Suplizio Field.
