To the Editor: I would like to relate to you and your readers about a unique experience I had at the Navarro Regional Hospital. -

To the Editor: Raising a newborn pup is a hard but rewarding job. Maxx was hand raised from 3 1/2 ounces and 5 inches long to a beautiful 6 month and 26-day-old Treeing Walker Coonhound.

To the Editor: It is shocking Corsicana is running Hawkins Tire Company out of business. Yes, I’m sure it’s true some conglomerate could come in with a nice brick building after running Mr. Hawkins off, but then everyone that has been a customer there for years, including my husband and I, would go somewhere else as they would have to charge much more for new tires and repairs than Mr. Hawkins has.

To the Editor: As a former supervisor for the Texas Department of Human Services for Navarro County, I was glad to see that our president and staff have noticed that Texas is not providing for the needs of our people. According to the article, Texas is rated the lowest in the nation. This is a tragedy that didn’t have to happen. -
