Thanks for support
and prayers
We want to say a BIG thank you for all the support and prayers that everyone in the community has sent our way. They have helped us to be strong, hopeful, and we are so grateful for all the caring people we have in our lives. We are sorry it took so long to send something out, but we know you understand how busy we have been. Although we wanted to say something that would mean a lot to all of the folks who have helped us in this journey, we still have not come up with what to say that would mean as much as we want it to. We may never be able to. What we do know is that God is good and so are the friends he has given us. In time, we hope to be able to give back to those in need as much as what has been given to us.
Thanks and love to all.

A big fan
To the Editor: I was at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village for a while.
It is the place to go if you can’t go home.
I went for physical therapy, and thanks to Steve and Sue, and God, I am home again.
Heritage Oaks is the only place to go if you can’t help yourself.
Thank you all so much.

To the Editor: Education, in my opinion, is the key to solving the problems we face in today’s world. We owe it to every child in Corsicana to provide him/her with the tools to reach their fullest potential.

Our rights in danger
To the Editor: In reference to the Corsicana Daily Sun article dated April 4, 2013, the president has already trampled on our First Amendment religious freedom, forcing people to pay for contraception and abortion — now he is tackling our Second Amendment rights. He uses children when politically expedient. -

Concerned with plan
To the Editor: I was appalled when I read your front page article in Wednesday's paper (April 10) stating that the downtown businesses planned to serve wine and cheese to shoppers on April 25. -
