Grateful for service
To the Editor: An open letter to Corsicana’s Paramedics.
I just wanted to thank you for the great amazing job you did. You got my son-in-law to the hospital as he was having a heart attack. It was Christmas morning and since they live in the “boonies” of Powell, I worried that it would take a long time for you to get there, let alone find their house.
Several of you came and assessed his situation and knew he would not get the help he needed here. So you took him to Dallas in 32 minutes and they were prepared because of your help in keeping them apprised of his condition, to do a catheterization.
You truly are heroes and I thank you for saving his life. He is on his way home and knows he has to make some changes.
You really deserve commendation for your work that day and I am sure other events.
Blessings to you all and thanks again.
Bobbie Ross

AirSho a delightful experience
My husband and I attended the Corsicana Airsho on Saturday, May 11. This was the first time for both of us to see the airsho. I would like to personally thank all those involved in truly making this a delightful experience. It was especially special because of my husband’s poor health. -

To the Editor: Education, in my opinion, is the key to solving the problems we face in today’s world. We owe it to every child in Corsicana to provide him/her with the tools to reach their fullest potential.

Our rights in danger
To the Editor: In reference to the Corsicana Daily Sun article dated April 4, 2013, the president has already trampled on our First Amendment religious freedom, forcing people to pay for contraception and abortion — now he is tackling our Second Amendment rights. He uses children when politically expedient. -
