Martin graduates from Basic Training
Air Force Airman 1st Class Robert A. Martin graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Martin earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Robert Martin Sr. of Frost, and Tina Radke of Blooming Grove. The airman is a 2011 graduate of Blooming Grove High School.
Baylor University Fall 2012 graduates
Baylor University conferred degrees on almost 800 graduates during fall commencement exercises Dec. 15 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus.

Tarleton Releases 'A' Honor Roll List
Tarleton State University has released its "A" Honor Roll list for the fall 2012 semester. Students listed have a 4.0 grade point ratio on the 4.0 system and are taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Kirby graduates from Tarleton State University
Kassie Kirby of Barry graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the university's Stephenville campus.
Commencement ceremonies were held Dec. 15, 2012, at Tarleton's Wisdom Gymnasium.
Honor designations for undergraduate degrees are: Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors), Magna Cum Laude (High Honors) and Cum Laude (Honors).
