TWU releases spring 2012 dean’s, chancellor’s lists
June 29, 2012 – DENTON — Texas Woman’s University has released its dean’s list and chancellor’s list for the spring 2012 semester.
Undergraduate students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours and achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 are eligible for the dean’s list.
The following students were named either to the dean’s list or the chancellor’s list for the spring 2012 semester:

Emily Evans, Business Administration-Accounting, Corsicana

Griffin receives honor in Memphis
On April 7, 2012, Dr. Robert C. Griffin of Memphis, Tenn. was presented with the Most Outstanding Dissertation Award for his Ph.D. dissertation titled “The Worship of Syro-Canaanite Deities in Ancient Egypt: Iconographic, Epigraphic, and Historical Analyses of the New Kingdom Evidence.” Dr. Griffin is the son of Gordon and Sammye Griffin of Blooming Grove. The award was presented at the Phi Alpha Theta Annual Awards banquet at The University of Memphis, where Dr. Griffin serves as an adjunct instructor. Phi Alpha Theta is the national History Honors Society. Griffin is also a professor at Mid-South Christian College in Memphis.
