Reim–Sloan Wedding

Ashley Nicole Reim and Austin Paul Sloan were married on March 9, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, Richardson. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Rich Rindfuss and Dr. Gary Singleton.  

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Reim of Garland. The groom is the son of Mrs. Lynda Sloan and Mr. Paul Sloan of Corsicana. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Wanda Reim of Garland, and Mrs. Kathryn Martin of Edmond, Okla. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Sloan of Powell, and Mr. and Mrs. Audry Harvey of Houston.

Attendants for the bride were Maid of Honor, Amy Boone, Audrey Sloan, Courtney Poehler, Tori Balch, Bailey Singleton and flower girl, Jade Reim. Attendants for the groom were Best Man, Adam Erwin, Allen Sloan, Andrew Sloan, Jack Summit and Cesar Anzures.  

A reception was held at the Richardson Woman’s Club, Richardson. Following a honeymoon to Antigua, the couple will reside in Dallas.

    The Emhouse 53rd School Reunion will be held May 18 at 11 a.m. at the Taylorosa Event Center on West Hwy. 22 and FM 744 in Corsicana.

The winner is determined by a vote of the 250 membership in May.  Only five are nominated each year.

    The Spring Hill Cemetery Association will have its Annual Meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 5, 2013, after the Matthews Family Reunion, at the First Baptist Church in Dawson Family Life Center which will be followed by a visit to the Cemetery.
