Sixth Ave., will present “The Dixie Swim Club” at 7:30 p.m. March 18-20, 23, 25-27 and at 2 p.m. March 21. “The Dixie Swim Club” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten is the story of five Southern women, whose friendship began on their college swim tea, who set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. The Pearce Museum on the Navarro College campus will host a reception to welcome artist Brenda Howell at 7 p.m. The reception will be open to the public and free of charge. Howell, an award-winning landscape artist, will exhibit a selection of her best works featuring the Grand Canyon and other western national parks from March 26 through May 28. Her work, “Afternoon Shadow Desert View,” currently hangs in the Pearce Museum and is part of the permanent Western Art Collection. The exhibition is in conjunction with the museum’s artist-in-residence program, March 26-27, featuring Howell.

A low-cost pet vaccination clinic, sponsored by the Navarro County Animals at Risk Foundation, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Beck Animal Hospital, 2508 W. Second Ave. Costs will be: rabies, $7; dogs — DHLPP, $16; cats — FVRCCP, $10, and feline leukemia, $16; deworming — roundworm, $5, and tapeworm $10; heartworm test, $25; and feline leukemia test, $25. Linnartz, a native of Corsicana who currently lives in Fort Worth. An expert on the history of the Chisholm and Western Trails, he is working with Congress to secure approval for those trails to be designated as National Historic Trails. An Easter egg hunt will be held on Palm Sunday starting at 3 p.m. at 801 N. 13th St., hosted by Cornerstone Baptist Church. Impact Navarro will host a town hall meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1114 E. When Are We Going Home Ministry will have a concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Fullerton-Garitty Park, weather permitting. The concert will feature Jason Sweet Band, My Drive Home, and All Things New. The ministry provides activities throughout the year for medically challenged and special needs children. A clothes hanger campaign is being sponsored by Corsicana Cleaners and Laundry, 215 N Main St. Bring in your clothes hangers and the cleaners will make a donation for each hanger to Phase Two of the Freedom Flag Project. So bring in 10, 20, 50, 100 or more through April. By doing so, you will benefit this project and keep them out of the city landfill. The annual Easter egg hunt, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St., will start at 10:30 a.m. There will be hot dogs and punch served before the egg hunt. The age to hunt eggs will be walking age to 10 years old. The egg hunt will start at 11 a.m. There will be a special prize for each age group. Everyone is welcome, so bring the kids and have fun. Ride for the Cure Motorcycle Rodeo will be held at the Reunion Grounds in Fairfield. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. for the fun run. First bike out will be at 10 a.m. and last bike in will be at 3 p.m. Cash prizes for best hand and worst hand. Festivities start at 10 a.m. with bike games, and a show and shine bike show.
