The Navarro College Police Academy will be hosting a Firefighter Shift Police Academy Feb. 1 through December.
This academy is for firefighters who need to attain their TECLEOSE certification.
Classes will be held on the Corsicana Fire Department’s C-shift, which starts Feb. 1 and runs every third day. Most weeks will have two class sessions. A few weeks will have three classes. Instruction will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on class days.
All classes will be held at Navarro College’s Police Academy, 3200 W. 7th Ave.
Cost will be $1,875.
If enough firefighters sign up, there could be two shift classes, meaning all shifts could attend.
