From reports released by the Navarro County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009:

• Deputy Scott Wiley responded to a report of burglary of a building in the 16100 block of FM 744.

• Deputy Mike Wolver responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 2000 block of FM 636 in Kerens.

• Deputy Melanie Cagle responded to a report of burglary of a building in the 1300 block of FM 246 in Streetman.

  • American Red Cross drill to take place Saturday

    On Saturday, the American Red Cross, Navarro Radio Club and Ellis County ARES/RACES will conduct a training drill in Ennis, with permission of the homeowners on Centennial, Highland and Carrol streets.
