Weather spurs multiple accidents

Corsicana — Slick conditions on the Richland-Chambers bridges on Interstate 45 just north of Corsicana have caused multiple accidents Monday morning.

Southbound traffic on I-45 was reported blocked at the bridges shortly before 8 a.m.

City, county and DPS officers are working numerous accidents as a result of the icy roads, the worst being the elevated roadways.

Please allow extra time to reach your morning destinations, and extra space between the vehicle ahead of you.
