UMME
On April 8, the United Methodist Motorcycle Enthusiasts (UMME) held a “Ride for the Risen” to benefit the Arrow Project. The UMME are motorcycle riders who have formed chapters within their home church to promote the fellowship of Christians through a common interest. UMME gives Christian riders the fellowship and safe riding experience that so many are looking for. This year, they raised $1,000 to benefit the Arrow Project, a Christian foster/adoption agency. The Arrow Project has been in existence since 1992 and opened its Corsicana office in 2004. The scripture foundation of The Arrow Project comes from Psalm 127. Mark Tennant, CEO and founder of the Arrow Project, grew up in foster care and his foster parents often repeated the words of this scripture. You can learn more about fostering and/or adopting these precious children by calling (903) 872-1505 or going to www.arrow.org.
