Navarro Regional Hospital Auxiliary is searching for friendly, compassionate volunteers to serve in various areas of the hospital. Scheduled times and hours and days are flexible. Experience Works wants to serve the community by providing money to low income older workers while they learn new skills. MLK Center board conducts a senior citizen program from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month. Senior citizens are invited to come and be a part. The seniors do chair exercises, play games and make gifts for special occasions or events throughout the year. Bi-Stone Antique Tractor Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Freestone County Sheriff’s Office Training Center, U.S. Highway 84, two miles west of Teague. Anyone interested in older farm equipment, rebuilding, overhauling, etc. is welcome. For more information, call (254) 765-3537.



Storytime is held at 10 a.m. Fridays for preschool children ages 3 to 5 (though all age groups are welcome) at the Corsicana Public Library. For more information, call (903) 654-4810.



New Beginnings group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. every Monday in the family activities building at First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St. All meetings are non-smoking.
