Healthy women eat beef
Today is the last day to sign up for a free women’s seminar on healthy grilling, hosted by Navarro Regional Hospital and the Texas Beef Council.
The outdoor event will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the I.O.O.F. Park Pavilion, but reservations must be made by 5 p.m. Friday.
“Grilling Savvy for the Savvy Girl,” will include demonstrations, and advice on how to select inexpensive cuts of beef, and prepare them deliciously. Recipes and tastings will be included in the event.
To reserve a seat, call the Healthy Woman office at the hospital at (903) 654-6948.

GED graduation set for June 11
The 2009 Navarro College GED graduation ceremony has been set for 7 p.m. June 11 at the Dawson Auditorium on the Navarro College Corsicana campus. Students who are interested in participating in this year’s ceremony should contact the Adult Education Department at (903) 875-7464.
