Palace fundraiser July 23
From Staff Reports
The Palace Theatre Food & Wine Club welcomes wine expert Dominique Moran and Dallas chef Sharon VanMeter to the Halbert House on Thursday, July 23.
This will be the second event of the year for the food and wine club, the first event being a huge fundraising success for the Palace. The July 23 event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a five course dinner prepared by Chef VanMeter, paired with a selection of international wines presented by Dominique Moran, south central regional manager of Maisons Marques & Domaines USA. Food & wine club members are encouraged to make early reservations, as seating will be open to the public beginning July 3. Tickets are $100 per guest. The event only seats 70 guests so don’t delay on making reservations for this beautiful evening.
Mark your calendar for upcoming Palace Food & Wine Club events. On September 10, Chef Richard Chamberlain of Chamberlain’s Chop House will make a special appearance and prepare a five course meal. December 10 will be another exciting evening, seating a larger number of guests, as the club welcomes Chef Kent Rathbun of Dallas’ five star restaurant ABACUS and a surprise winemaker from California. The profit from each of these events benefits the continued growth of the Palace Theatre and helps pursue their mission of bringing high-quality arts and entertainment to Corsicana and the surrounding areas.
For information about available seats, details about a specific event, or to be placed on the waiting list for these events, please call the Palace Box Office at (903) 874-7792.
