The College Park Mall which added Steele’s just two months ago is adding yet another new tenant — Rue 21.
Rue 21 sells clothing that appeals to young women.
“They sell clothing anywhere from pre-teen to mid-to-late 30s,” said Frank Heifrin, with Stalworth Real Estate, the company that owns and develops the mall in Corsicana.
The store will open in the early November, Heifrin said.
The mall developer has made some improvements, including landscaping and parking lot paving, and that has appealed to some prospective new tenants, Heifrin said.
“In the coming months we hope to have more tenants to announce,” he said. “We’re working as hard as we can to find as many tenants as we can.”
“It’s going to be exciting.”

City to consider rules for airport, swear in new attorney

Police department open house Tuesday
The renovation of the Corsicana Police Department got a bit more involved than it was originally intended to. An error with some concrete resulted in water flooding city hall, and forcing replacement of carpeting and flooring. As well, the renovations quickly led to renovations of the municipal court, as well.
