Corsicana —
The Corsicana City Council will consider awarding a bid for $315,530 to move the Dobbins Road water lines, when the group is scheduled to meet in regular session at 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the Corsicana Government Center at 200 N. 12th Street.
The council normally meets the first and third Tuesdays, but moved the first meeting of this month so as not to have to meet on New Year’s Day.
The council will also be asked to make a zoning change for a home on North Business 45 which is in the industrial zone, and homes aren’t allowed in those zones. The house is already there.
The council will also meet in a closed, executive session to discuss real estate. Any action on the discussions will occur in open session.
