Mildred FFA plant ID team recently competed in the Freestone County Soil and Water Conservation District contest. Mildred had six in the top 10 individuals. The 11th annual Blind and Visually Impaired Sports Extravaganza was held Oct. 23-24 in Irving, sponsored by the Region 10 Education Service Center, Lions Club International District 2-X1, and Lions Club International District 2-E2. Clayton Stacy, son of Melissa and Jim Stacy of Corsicana, won gold medals as he placed first in tee-ball hitting, first in tennis ball throw, and first in 25-meter dash.
Chiselbrook graduates
Jason Chiselbrook of Blooming Grove graduated from Tarleton State University with a master’s degree in manu quality and leadership from the university’s Stephenville campus. Commencement ceremonies were held Aug. 15.
