Northbound lanes of Interstate 45 between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and U.S. 75 in downtown Dallas will be closed beginning 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, through 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.
This area of I-45 consists of the bridges over I-30. This closure is necessary to facilitate repair of guardrails in this area. Northbound traffic will be detoured to I-30 where it will continue to the next exit to make a U-turn, re-enter I-30 and take the exit to I-45 north.
On Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 beginning at 9 a.m. one left lane on southbound I-45 from I-30 to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.
Message boards will be in place to inform the public of the closures and detour signs will be set up.
