Dec. 12

Collin Street Bakery: Collin Street Bakery, 2035 S. Interstate 45, Corsicana, will have music from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Also, Santa Claus will be visiting from 2 to 4 p.m.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church: The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass in Spanish will be held at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana.

Second Avenue Baptist Church: A live nativity will be presented from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Second Avenue Baptist Church, 3045 W. Second Ave., Corsicana.

The Cook Center: The Cook Center, 3100 W. Collin St., Corsicana, located on the Navarro College campus, will present “The Christmas Star” at 2 p.m. Admission will be $2. For more information, call (903) 875-7592 or visit the Web site at www.cookplanetarium.us.

When Are We Going Home Ministry: The fifth annual Cheryl Dunn concert with Spirit Sent in pre-concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Leighton B. Dawson Auditorium on the Navarro College campus, 3200 W. Seventh Ave., Corsicana. The concert will feature Christmas music and there will be a silent auction. Mall Santa: Santa Claus will be located in the Center Court of College Park Mall, 3500 W. Seventh Ave., Corsicana, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 12; 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 13; 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 17; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 18-19; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 20; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 21-23; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24. Dec. 13

Collin Street Bakery: Santa Claus will be visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. at Collin Street Bakery, 2035 S. Interstate 45, Corsicana.

Emmanuel Baptist Church: Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2217 W. Seventh Ave., Corsicana, will have its sanctuary choir cantata at 10:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana, will present the Living Christmas Tree at 7 p.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St., Corsicana will hold its annual children’s Christmas musical at 10:50 a.m. in the Great Hall.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church of Dawson will have an advent service at 11 a.m.

Frost Holiday Tour of Homes: Frost Holiday Tour of Homes will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Maps of homes on the tour will be available at the Frost Community Center, 217 N. Garitty St., Frost, where refreshments will be offered beginning at 1 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the center on the day of the tour. Proceeds will benefit the Frost Community Center Food Pantry. For more information, call (254) 678-3634.

Mildred Baptist Church: Mildred Baptist Church, 5502 S. U.S. Highway 287, Corsicana, will have its choir presentation of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” at 10:25 a.m.

Northside Baptist Church: The sanctuary choir and orchestra of Northside Baptist Church, 2800 N. Beaton St., Corsicana, will present “Noel, Night of Everlasting Love” at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rick Lamb narrating the presentation. At 6 p.m., the youth choir will present a dinner theater musical titled “Come in from the Cold” in the church’s Activities Building. Donations will help fund the choir’s 2010 summer tour. Stew and cornbread will be the menu. They will also collect new or gently used coats that will be given to the needy.

St. Luke United Methodist Church: The chancel choir of St. Luke United Methodist Church, 2308 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will present “Noel Celebration,” a cantata written by Cindy Berry and Mark Cabaniss, which sparkles with Christmas worship and majesty, at 10:45 a.m.

Second Avenue Baptist Church: A live nativity will be presented from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Second Avenue Baptist Church, 3045 W. Second Ave., Corsicana.



Dec. 14

Dawson Elementary School: Dawson Elementary School students will have their Christmas program at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Dawson. The kindergarten through second grade students will perform at 6:30 p.m. The third through fifth grade students will perform at 7:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana, will present the Living Christmas Tree at 7 p.m.

Frost Elementary School: Frost Elementary School third and fourth grade students will present a Christmas musical program at 6:30 p.m. at the Frost Performing Arts Center.



Dec. 16

Carroll Elementary School: The fourth grade students at Carroll Elementary School, 1101 E. 13th Ave., Corsicana, will perform a program, “Dear Santa,” at 10 a.m. at the Carroll gym.

Dawson Stroll: The annual Dawson stroll will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Dawson. Stop by at various businesses and enjoy snacks and visiting.

Faith Lutheran Church: Faith Lutheran Church, 3824 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will hold advent services, “Mysteries of Faith,” at 7 p.m. A meal will be served at 6 p.m.

Hubbard ISD Band: Hubbard Independent School District’s Christmas concert, featuring seventh through 12th grade band students, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Hubbard High School cafetorium, State Highway 31, Hubbard.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church: An advent reconciliation service will be held at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana.

Sterling House: “Jingle Mingle” will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Sterling House, 3329 W. Seventh Ave., Corsicana. Complimentary admission. There will be live entertainment, refreshments and door prizes. For reservations and information, call Brooke at (903) 872-8400.

Texas Twisters Trick Riding and Performance Team of Kerens: A Christmas show will be performed at 3 p.m. at the Kerens Care Center by the Texas Twisters Trick Riding and Performance Team of Kerens. The team is made up of kids age 7 to 15, performing on horseback, hanging on the sides of a running horse, vaulting on and off as well as standing on horseback bring holiday cheer for all to see.



Dec. 17

Collins Catholic School: Collins Catholic School, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will present a Christmas program, “Miracle on Bethlehem Street,” at 6 p.m. in the gym featuring kindergarten through fourth grade.

Dawson ISD Band: Dawson Independent School District’s Christmas concert, featuring sixth through 12th grade band students, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Dawson.

First Baptist Church: The Solid Rocker Choir of First Baptist Church of Corsicana will sing at 2 p.m. at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village and at 3 p.m. at Twilight Home.

Kerens Lighting Contest: The annual Kerens lighting contest will be held. Those participating are asked to have their lights on from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information, call (903) 396-2391.

Mildred Elementary School: The kindergarten through third grade students at Mildred Elementary School will perform a Christmas program at 7 p.m. at Lane Gym at Mildred High School, South U.S. Highway 287, Corsicana.

Navarro County A&M; Club: Navarro County A&M; Club will have its sixth annual Christmas party from 6 to 8 p.m. at Napoli’s, 111 E. Collin St., Corsicana. Cost will be $13 for adults; $5 for kids 10 and under; and free for current A&M; students. RSVP by Dec. 15. All reservations will be billed if unable to attend. Proceeds go toward scholarship funds. Dec. 18

Bowie Elementary School: Bowie Elementary School, 1800 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will present the “Snow Crew Holiday Show” at 8:30 a.m. in the gym. Teachers will put on skits, karaoke and have a sing-along with the kids.

Corsicana High School Fine Arts Department: Corsicana High School Fine Arts Department will present a winter musical, “Frontier Santa,” at 7 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium.

Landmark Baptist Church: “Silent Night a Living Nativity” will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church, 4429 W. State Highway 31, Corsicana.

Chatfield United Methodist Church: Chatfield United Methodist Church, 4937 Farm-to-Market Road 1603, Chatfield, will have its annual family Christmas program from 3 to 5 p.m., which will include a puppet show, family activities, birthday party for Jesus with cake and punch, and Christmas carols sing-a-long. The event will be free, but please consider bringing a can, box or bag of food for local food pantries.

Westminster Presbyterian Church: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 312 N. 13th St., Corsicana, will have “The Longest Night Service” at 6 p.m. The service is designed to offer healing and support for those experiencing stress and loneliness at the holiday season.



Dec. 24

Cornerstone Baptist Church: Cornerstone Baptist Church, 801 N. 13th St., Corsicana, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6:30 p.m.

Faith Lutheran Church: Faith Lutheran Church, 3824 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will have a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 5:30 p.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St., Corsicana will have a Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service at 6 p.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church of Dawson will have a traditional service of lessons and carols at 6 p.m. during its Christmas Eve candlelight service.

Wesley United Methodist Church, 3308 N. Beaton St., Corsicana, will have a Christmas Eve carols and candlelight service at 4 p.m.

Westminster Presbyterian Church: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 312 N. 13th St., Corsicana, will have a service with lessons and carols at its Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m.



Dec. 25

Faith Lutheran Church: Faith Lutheran Church, 3824 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will have a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m.



Dec. 31

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3366, located at Veterans Drive off West State Highway 31, will have a New Year’s Eve dance with the Heart of Texas Road Gang Band from Waco. Party favors and snacks will be provided. Tickets are $15 and are available in the post canteen, which opens at 4 p.m. daily or call after 4 p.m. to (903) 872-3811 for more information.
