Harmony Baptist Church, 400 East 12th Avenue, Corsicana will continue appreciation services for its pastor and wife, Bishop John Baker and Minister Vanessa Baker. On Friday at 8 p.m., Open Door COGIC will be guests and Pastor David Thompson will bring the message. On Sunday, Aug. 1 at 11:30 a.m., Elder Roddy Thompson, Associate Minister at Ennis Mt. Zion Church, will bring the message. The services will conclude with the 4 p.m. service and Ennis Mt. Zion, Elder Rufus L. Gant, pastor will be the special guests. The Corsicana Ministerial Alliance will meet for its regular meeting at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday the United Christian Fellowship building, 3301 W. 7th Ave. Lisa Godfrey from the Dale Carnegie Institute will bring a program on Effective Communication.
