County Commissioners to discuss VFD contract

The Navarro County Commissioners Court will be holding a special workshop at 1 p.m. Monday to discuss a revised contract between the county and the volunter fire departments it helps fund through the annual county budget.

A condition of funding by the county is having a current contract with the individual departments on file, and abiding by rules for reporting and record keeping.

The meeting will be held in the County Courtroom of the Navarro County Courthouse and is open to the public.
