Corsicana —
If you caught a glimpse of a familiar face during the pre-game and half-time activities at the Cotton Bowl last Friday, it may have been from Corsicana.
The Corsicana High School Calico Dance Officers recently performed at the pre-game and half-time show of the 77th AT&T Cotton Bowl Game on Jan. 4 at Cowboys Stadium. They performed with over 150 dancers from across the Nation as well as alongside the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Their audience boasted over 75,000 spectators at Cowboy Stadium.
The Dance Officers also performed earlier this year at the pre-game show of the SMU vs. University of Southern Mississippi on Nov. 10. They performed alongside 120 other dancers.
The Calico Dance Officers would like to say a huge thank you to the community for their continuing support in helping the girls raise the funds for these two special performances. Without your support, these wonderful opportunities would not be made possible for these deserving students.
