    Fertilizer plant officials and emergency responders are in limbo now, at least until the state and federal investigators issue a report on what happened April 17 in West. For officials with the Eldorado fertilizer company and local rescue workers it’s a matter of covering their bases until they have more information.

    The 15th Corsicana AirSho came off successfully overall, beneath brilliant blue skies and moderate temperatures.
    The show opened its gates at 9:30 a.m., and the public was allowed to walk around the planes, and even tour some of them, until 11:30 a.m. when they closed the flight decks to allow the planes to taxi out and take off.

  • CISD bond fails; planning another try in November

    Voters in the Corsicana Independent School District may be asked to vote on a revised school bond proposal in November, CISD Superintendent Dr. Diane Frost said Saturday, after district voters defeated a $54 million bond.
