Homecoming activities at Corsicana High School continue this week to mark the 2012 occasion. Monday evening started with a tailgate party for all CHS students. Tuesday’s activities included hall decorating at the high school. Wednesday students dressed for Tacky Day. Retro Day on Thursday includes a historical tribute to CHS students of the past and present with different classes dressing to represent the decades.
Friday activities begin with a finale “dance off” at the pep rally and conclude with the game vs. Lindale at 7:30pm, including the homecoming court activities at halftime. The game is sure to be a reflection of flowers, glitter and ribbons as the floral mum corsages continue to be a big part of the homecoming celebration.
In addition to Homecoming at CHS, the district has participated in Red Ribbon Week – for drug prevention and awareness. All the schools have participated in various forms of “dress-up” activities to bring awareness to drug prevention strategies.
