Brenda Dianne Jaynes, age 40, of Italy, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at her home from a long battle with cancer.

She was born March 30, 1971 to Paul David and Barbara (Henley) Skaggs in Antlers, Okla. She married Carl Jaynes on Dec. 29, 1996 in San Leon, Texas. Dianne was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul David Skaggs.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Jaynes; three sons, Michael Mitchell and his wife Amanda, Carl Jaynes Jr., and Volley Jaynes II; granddaughters, Brianna and Haley; her mother Barbara Morphew of Corsicana; brothers, Justin Skaggs of Roscoe, Ill., Michael Skaggs of Troy, Ala. and Donnie Morphew of Corsicana; sisters, Lisa Maxell of Waldron, Ark., Regina and Ashley Morphew of Corsicana; father-in-law, Jeff Jaynes of Italy and mother-in–law, Faye Flores and her husband Alex of Frost.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at the Frost United Methodist Church with Pastor Leah Hidde-Gregory officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove.

Pallbearers will be Mike Morphew, Donnie Morphew, Timothy Maxell, Jimmy Maxell, Chris Rowe and Johnny Smithwick.

Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Jackson.

Arrangements by Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel, Italy.
