Corsicana —
Marion Dawson Roberson, age 74, of Frost passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at her home. She was born Dec. 13, 1937 to James Andrew and Ima Lee (Reese) Dawson.
She was married to the late Eugene Russell Roberson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Linda Kay, and her twin sister, Marti Dawson Vantreese.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Diane Rejona and husband Randy of Houston; son, Alan Blane Wilson and wife Lillian of Friendswood; daughter, Glynda Ellen Atwell and husband Don of Keller; and son, Berny James Wilson; step-children, Rusty Roberson of Midlothian, Pam Dobson and husband James of Wills Point, Carla Reel and husband, John of Whitney, Rodney Roberson of Dallas; and grandchildren Brandon, Rachel, Sadie, Deke, Nathaniel, Terry, Keri, Whitney, Berny, Jr., Nancilee, James Andrew (Dude), Mindy, Megan, Michael, Morgan and MaKayla. She is also survived by great-grandchildren John, Shelby, Emmett, Abby, Nigel II, Kaydan, Kinnidee, Kristian, Kolton and Makynna; one sister, Faye Dawson Flores and husband Alex of Frost and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will he held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at the Frost United Methodist Church, 121 East North Front Street, Frost, Texas 76641.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Amercian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
