Diana McKinney Turn

Corsicana —



Diana McKinney Turn, age 74, of Corsicana passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 in Corsicana. She was born on Dec. 26, 1937 in Corsicana to parents, Jack P. and Nell McKinney.

She attended the University of Colorado and the University of Texas. She worked as a Travel Agent for 25 years, and was a world traveler. After her retirement she owned and operated a coffee shop in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack P. and Nell McKinney.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Golden and husband Dale of Kemp; son, Craig Turn and wife Cheryl of Crockett; granddaughter, Emberlyn Golden of Kemp; grandson, Peyton Turn of Crockett; sister, Suzette McKinney of Adkins, and a host of many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. B. F. Risinger, Jr. officiating.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Heritage Oaks Retirement Village and Navarro Regional Hospital, and would like to say a special thank you to her caregiver, Sue Bowling.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served on the Birdston Cemetery Association Board.
