Funeral services for Dickie Ray Rounsavall, 52, of LaRue, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel of Athens. Bro. Robbie Caldwell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens.
He passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in Tyler.
Dickie was born Sept. 16, 1960 in Corsiciana to William Arthur and Evelyn June Fipps Rounsavall. He was a delivery driver for Coburn’s Plumbing Supply. Dickie loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, hunting and especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents Bill and June Rousavall of LaRue; four brothers: David Rounsavall of Corsicana, Dennis Rounsavall and wife Debra of Tyler, Dana Rounsavall and wife Cindy of Purdon, Danny Rounsavall of LaRue; nieces and nephews: Gretchen Hollimon, Michael Rounsavall, Cody Rounsavall, Jennifer Palacios, D.J. Rounsavall, Misty Ewing, Jeremy Rounsavall and Danny Kyle Rounsavall; 17 great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Rounsavall, Cody Rounsavall, D.J. Rounsavall, Jeremy Rounsavall, Danny Kyle Rounsavall, Jose Palacios and James Ewing. Honorary pallbearers are Darryl Smith, Bobby Murphy, Johnny Lake, and Steven Fredericks.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
