Barbara Ann Mathews, 70, of Purdon passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012.

She was born Oct. 17, 1942 in Clarksville, Texas, to Frank Jamison and Vera Whitsell.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Michael S. Chaney of Purdon; children, Laura Sullivan and husband Eric of Purdon, Julie Adye of Sterling, Colo., Larry Adye and wife Heidi of San Diego, Calif., Rusty Adye and wife Sharla of Red Oak, and Travis Glenn of Dallas; brother, Dan Southard of Irving; sister, Debra Shirley of Bryan; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Cheek officiating.

Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Corsicana.
