Mrs. Dorothy Malcolm Jones, age 77, of Corsicana passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, in Corsicana. She was born on Feb. 21, 1934 in Dallas to parents Raymond and Countis Cooper.

Dorothy attended Corsicana High School and is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and Navarro College in Corsicana. She worked as a closer for multiple title companies during her professional career.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Countis Cooper, her two brothers, Dean and Lynn Cooper, her husband, Dick Jones and her daughter, Deanna Coyle.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Kelly Kay Coyle; niece, Erin Cooper Burgy and husband Christopher; great-nieces, Livia Claire Burgy and Cooper Elizabeth Burgy; nephew, Kelly Cooper and wife Catherine; sister-in-law, Andrea Cooper, and her beloved group of friends fondly known as “the bridesmaids.”

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetary with the Rev. B.F. Risinger, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Wade Braly, John Braly, Jack Jones, Dave Ralston, Christopher Burgy and Kelly Cooper.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Heritage Oaks West and Navarro Regional Hospital.
