Betty Layton (Thompson) Sheffield, 79, of Hubbard and formerly of Corsicana, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, before the funeral. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Rick Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Antioch Cemetery near Mount Calm.
