Corsicana —

George W. Peppel, 69, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 in Arlington.

George retired this past April from Oil State Ind. in Arlington. He and his wife Betty Peppel had recently sold their home in Mansfield, and moved to their home at Richland Chambers Lake in Corsicana. George was a Texas Registered Mechanical Engineer. He has numerous patents for medical, highway, offshore oil products and airport equipment.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Peppel; children, Matt Peppel, Janene Johnson, Teresa Wallace, and Sherry Bishop; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Saint Jude Catholic Church of Mansfield. Burial will be at Skyvue Memorial Gardens.
