Mary Elizabeth Roberson

Corsicana —



Mary Elizabeth Roberson went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.  Mary was born in Kilgore, Texas, to Jeff and Gladys Watson on Jan. 31, 1938.  She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1957.

Mary retired from Intercontinental Mfg. Co. in 2003.  Mary took pride in being a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Claude Roberson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers and sisters, Annabelle Bounds, Peggy Joyce Watson, Marjorie Johnson, Jean Jones, Dale and Randy Watson and her son-in-law, Mark Lee.

She is survived by her loving children, Renee Lee, Steve Roberson and wife Linda, Greg Roberson and her six loving grandchildren, Kristin and Brad Roberson, Amanda and Chad Lee, and Courtney and Taylor Roberson.  Mary was one of 10 children, and is survived by sisters, Loys Bounds and Beverly Bounds, and brother, Lynn Watson. She is also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Neal and Peggy Crawford, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m., and the service will be Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at 12 p.m., both at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, Texas.
