Mark Sparkman, 53, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born March 5, 1959, in Corsicana to David Earl Sparkman and Wilma Morgan.
He is preceded in death by the late David Sparkman.
Survivors include his significant other, Mary Cobb Jock of Corsicana; mother, Wilma Morgan of Corsicana; step-mother, Stacy Sparkman of Corsicana; brother and sisters-in-law, Karl and Christy Sparkman of Bryan, Chad and Amber Sparkman of Bryan; half brother and sister-in-law, John and Anna Sparkman of Eustace; daughters and son-in-laws, Michelle and Kyle Edmondson of Austin and Miranda and Matt Wallen of Blooming Grove; son and significant other, David Sparkman and Sherrie VanSchaick of Corsicana; step-son, Logan Jock of Corsicana; grandsons, Nicholas Edmondson of Austin, Joshua Edmondson of Austin, Zachary Edmondson of Austin, Jaxon Edmondson of Austin and Preston Sparkman of Corsicana; granddaughters, Mariah Sparkman of Blooming Grove, Mallory Wallen of Blooming Grove and also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Bro. Grady Cashion officiating.
Pallbearers will be Scott Montgomery, Lee Montgomery, Chris Boyd, and Marvin McGahan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be H.B. Currington and Johnny Flores.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation is encouraged to make it to the American Cancer Society, Navarro Unit Memorials, 1000 W. Second Ave.
