Betty Jean Snowden Myskey

Betty Jean Snowden Myskey, 50, formerly of Stuart, Okla., was born into eternal life on Wednesday evening, Nov. 7, 2012, at Trisun Care Center in Corsicana with her family at her side.

She was born March 19, 1962, in Dallas to Jessie Snowden and Ruth Stokes Snowden.

She was a loving person who enjoyed shopping and her grandchildren. She also read and studied her Bible several times a day.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Johnathan Bailey.

Survivors include her children, Brandy Green and husband Luke of Corsicana, and Tiffany Cole and James Beck of Malakoff; five grandchildren, Lynzee Scruggs, Bailey Scruggs, Shane Bailey, Joshua Bailey and Michael Cole; two sisters, Gloria Bull of Fort Worth, and Linda Stewart of Arizona; two brothers, James Snowden of Arizona, and Jessie Snowden Jr. of Oklahoma; special niece and sister, Michelle Stewart; and a number of nieces and nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at noon on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Dwayne Owen officiating.
