Mrs. Betty Joyce Harrell, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Trisun Care Center in Corsicana.
She was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Rice to Maurice and Frankie William Knott. She married Travis Harrell on June 7, 1960 in Corsicana. They were happily married for 51 years.
Survivors include her husband, Travis Lee Harrell; a son, Billy Harrell and wife Lisa; a daughter, Debbie Donnell and husband Jake; a brother, Billy Gene Knott; a sister, JoAnn Stewart; a grandson, Christopher Harrell; four granddaughters, Angie Neal, Jennifer Farmer, Molly Dardar and Leia Harrell; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by many.
Visitation with the family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Corley Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse with the Rev. Otis Connor officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend many thanks for those who cared for her. There will be a gathering following graveside services at 704 Oxford in Corsicana.
